The Saturday Alpine Ski and Snowboard School program are group lessons for children. For ski lessons, children must be 6 years old or older by December 1, of the current winter season and for snowboard lessons the children must be 8 years old. The program is run by volunteers of the Farmington Ski Club. It is designed for skiers and riders of all ability levels, from first experience to advance. The classes meet on Saturday mornings for one hour and the non-member program cost includes an all day lift ticket for students. Children are divided into groups by a combination of skill levels and age levels. The program is scheduled to run for 8 Saturdays starting in early January.
Details for 2016 – 2017
Dates: 8 week program starting January 7, 2017.
Time: Choice of 10 am lesson or 11:15 am lesson. 8 weeks of one-hour classes.
Program Costs: $30 members of Farmington Ski Club. $125 for non-members, which includes an all-day lift ticket.
Rentals: Available from Northern Lights Rental Shop on site. Please have child pre-fitted for equipment prior one week in advance of program.
Registration: Registrations are due by December 23, 2016. Enrollment limited to 125 students.
