The days keep getting shorter, there’s white stuff on the ground, and holiday music is playing on the radio. It can only mean one thing: winter is here. As the snow begins to pile up I invite you to get outside with the Arooskis Nordic Ski Program this winter. If you are new to Arooskis you can learn more on our webpage. To register for this year’s program please visit the registration page.
Sessions in Farmington will continue to be offered on Wednesdays @ Titcomb Mountain in Farmington at 6 pm. This year we are also adding a new session on Mondays @ Auburn Nordic Ski Association Trails, Perkins Ridge Rd. in Auburn at 6 pm.
Sessions in Auburn will begin on January 6th and sessions in Farmington begin on January 8th and run through March.
The cost for this year’s program is $55 and covers as many sessions as you would like to attend an also includes some fun Arooskis apparel. As a way to say thanks to those that volunteer their time to get kids on skis, Arooskis is free to youth program coaches and volunteers. Please let me know if this applies to you and I’ll give you a coupon code to use when registering. The cost does not include access fees at either venue. Nordic trail passes at Titcomb Mountain are $5 and an Auburn Nordic Ski Association membership is $35 for the season. These fees help to keep the trails in shape so we can enjoy great skiing throughout the year.
Please feel free to share this with anyone that you can think of who might be interested. If you have any questions feel free to contact me. I look forward to see you on the trails this winter!
We will be open today at 9am. The Beagle & Bunny are groomed and will be open for Alpine. The Airport loop has also been groomed for Skate Skiing. We’ll continue to groom our nordic trails throughout the day to add more terrain.
