Happy sunny and warms days to you! It looks like at long last winter is leaving us. What a wonderful winter it was, though! And thanks to all of you, it was a very successful winter. Numbers in all categories were up and enthusiasm was high. Bravo!!
Coming up - June 9 Annual Meeting/Volunteer Recognition Night (including ice cream!) and the Ski Patrol Certification details.
First, the Ski Patrol Certification for becoming a volunteer patroller at Titcomb. Most of you that expressed interest have received your information and have hopefully sent your checks in for your materials. They are due this MONDAY, MAY 12! If you are just realizing you want to take the course or are just realizing it is May, it is not too late. Please call Woody Hanstein in the evening (778-6905) and let him know. See more details about this below.
On Monday, June 9th at 7:00 pm the Volunteer Recognition Night and the Annual Meeting of the Farmington Ski Club will be held. All members (Titcomb Passholders) are invited. The Annual Meeting will be brief, we will thank the lead volunteers of the many activities at Titcomb, the volunteer of the year will be announced, and cake and ice cream will be served. Please mark your calendars now!
Don’t forget that Titcomb is a terrific place to have reunions, parties, weddings, and other events. It only costs $200 for Farmington Ski Club members for a day. Call 778-9031 for more information.
It is wonderful to see so many of you enjoying the trails. Please remember that when it is wet, bicycles can leave ruts. If you are sinking in, get off your bike and walk until it is firm again. Respect and preserve our trails!
More on the Ski Patrol OEC Course:
The course begins on Monday, June 2nd with the CPR certification and will run from 6-10pm. The rest of the classes will be on Mondays from 6 – 9.
If you have a current BLS for Healthcare Provider CPR Certification (or greater), you would not need to be at the first class. You will, however, have to provide proof of a valid AHA or ARC Healthcare Provider CPR card on or before the first night of class.
Regarding attendance: Attendance really is essential to learning this material and it is expected that candidates will be in class each week. We understand that sometimes emergencies or weddings in New Jersey can occur, and if for good reasons people miss one or two classes during the course of the summer we will make every effort to help them catch up with material they miss.
To secure your enrollment in this class, please send us the following:
